Legal information

Who we are

The controller for this site is promobilet. Contact: info@promobilet.com.

Contact form

The details you send through the contact form on the Support page (your name, e-mail address and message) are used only to answer your message. They stay in the info@promobilet.com mailbox and are not stored anywhere else on the site. You can ask us to delete them at any time by writing to info@promobilet.com.

Flight notifications

When you turn on notifications for a flight on the "Where is my traveller?" page, we keep your e-mail address (encrypted), the flight number, the date and the moments you chose, so we can send those e-mails. Notifications start when you tick the box in the form and end when the aircraft lands or at the latest 2 days after the flight date. Ended or cancelled notifications are deleted within 30 days. Every e-mail has a link to stop them; you can also write to info@promobilet.com. Your e-mail address is not shared with anyone.

Price alerts

When you set a price alert we store your e-mail address (encrypted) and the alert settings (the flight, the kind of alert and the price to compare with) to send you the price alert e-mails you asked for. The alert starts as soon as you tick the box in the form. Alerts end when the flight date has passed; finished or cancelled alerts are deleted within 30 days. Every alert e-mail has a cancel link, or you can write to info@promobilet.com. The e-mails come only from info@promobilet.com.

What we store and why

You do not have to tick any box to go from the booking form to the airline's site.

If you tick "Keep my details so I can be reminded when check-in opens", we store your booking reference, your surname and the e-mail and/or phone number you entered, to remind you when check-in opens.

If you tick "I would like to hear about promotions and deals by e-mail/SMS/WhatsApp", we store your e-mail and/or phone number to send you offers and deals by e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp.

If you tick nothing, we store no personal data, only anonymous counts: airline, action, language and time.

Legal basis

Our legal basis is your consent. Each box is separate, optional and unticked by default.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you withdraw your consent, then we delete them. To withdraw consent or ask for deletion, write to info@promobilet.com. Every marketing message will also have an unsubscribe option.

Security and location

Personal fields are stored encrypted in a database hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). We do not share your data with the airlines; the form only opens the airline's own page with your details filled in.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have these rights:

• access: ask for a copy of your data
• rectification: have incorrect data corrected
• erasure: have your data deleted
• withdrawal of consent: at any time, without affecting the past
• objection
• portability: receive your data in a structured format

To use your rights, write to info@promobilet.com. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

The airline's site

Once the airline's site is open, the airline handles the booking under its own privacy policy.
